What a fabulous bird. I bet you could make points with Bernie if you brought that back to the States for him. I am jealous! It looks like you are having a great time and learning lotsssssss.

Sorry for my extended absence from your Blog! My wife Nancy and I spent 5 “unforgettable” days in New Orleans for Mardi Gras and I am just now getting my strength back.

Y’all are definitely making an “impact”! Here are some comments about your presentation at the RC of Applecross that appeared in their Club Bulletin:

START Comments:
Garry has that unique ability to engage the attention of everyone in his audience, and must have been an obvious choice for the position of team leader.

Next to address the meeting was attractive, fair haired, Lindsey Baxter! Lindsey appealed to this editor with her comment that, despite a love for travel and meeting new people, she still treasures her home and her family above all.

Then we heard from tall, handsome, Grant Gillespie. Typical of so many GSE team members we have met over the years, Grant is a very good speaker, interested in the world around him, and obviously has a great future in front of him. Well done Grant Gillespie.

Shannon Newborn is single and an immediately likeable, wonderfully outgoing person, about whom one of my table colleagues wrote on a paper serviette, the words, “Personality Girl”!

Lori Sheridan-Wilson lives in one of the very best addresses – a place called Mount Pleasant!!! Lori is obviously clever, with a Master of Science degree in Park and Resource Management. You will all like Lori very much when you meet her.

Scott Stover… what a presenter! Scott is a really first class speaker and an immediately likeable personality.

Every family throughout District 9460, hosting one of the members of this team, will add that person to their own list of special friends.
END Comments.

I hope y’all don’t let this stuff go to your heads? Seriously… I can’t tell you how proud you make all of us back here in SC. Keep it up. Lindsey; glad you are feeling better.

I forgot to mention that I LOVE the photos of the Parrots. Are they in the wild? The cockatoo's are beautiful & I'm not sure if the other is an eclectus... but it is also beautiful. We have 8 parrots at home and one is a cockatoo. Keep the bird photos coming!!!
